犬の居場所。

今日の北見は気温がぐっと下がって肌寒いほど・・・
それでも、そらパパは６時過ぎに起きて
約束の携帯電話を持ってそら君と散歩へ行きましたよ。

そして８時過ぎにはクレアちゃんと約束した公園へＧＯ！！
そらママは寒いのは苦手なので
上下のヤッケを着て行きましたよ。
５月の服装には似合わない格好でしたが
寒くて風邪をひくよりはましですからね～～～

今そら君の遊び場にしている場所には
パークゴルフが近くにあって
今日も朝早くから寒さにも負けずに
お年寄り達も集まっていました。
そのパークゴルフ場の駐車場に車を止めて
遊び場までいつものようにゴミを拾いながら行き
楽しく遊んで帰る時に駐車場で５人ほどのお年寄りが
「此処は犬を連れて来るところじゃない」と
クレアママさんに聞こえるように言ったそうです。
お家に帰ったクレアママさんがとてもひどく落ち込んで
そらママに電話で教えてくれました。

そのお年寄りはもしかして・・・
パークゴルフ場に車を止めていた私たちを
パークゴルフに犬を一緒に連れてきたと
とんでもない勘違いをされたのかもしれませんが・・・
どんなに気を遣ってマナーを守り
犬の排泄の後にお水をかけて
あらゆるゴミを拾って歩いても・・・
犬を連れて歩く私たちを
目の敵にしてしまうんだなぁ・・・と思ったら
そらママもなんだか空しい気持ちになってしまいました。

でもね・・・
広い場所で犬とボールやオモチャを使って遊んだり
「待て」の練習をしたり
一緒に走り回ったりしているととっても楽しいのです。
何より、犬たちが生き生きしているんです。
犬同士が接する事によってお互いに学習し
犬の社会性もできてくるのです。
アスファルトの上ばかりを歩かせて
狭い犬舎の中に閉じこめておく飼い方が
犬にどれだけのストレスを与えているか・・・
どうぞ分かってください。

無駄吠えの犬や噛む犬をなくすためにも
もっともっと人に愛される犬に育てるためにも
理不尽な言葉を容赦なく放つ人達にも
分かって貰えるような犬の居場所を見つけてあげたい・・・
犬同士が安全に仲良く遊べる犬の居場所を見つけてあげたい・・・
そら君の寝顔を見ながら切実に思ったそらママなのでした。
